"I had a terrible experience with this insurance agency and strongly advise against choosing them. If you want State Farm, that’s fine, but avoid this specific agency. The staff, particularly an employee named “Red,” were rude over the phone. About a year ago, Red was dismissive and had an unprofessional tone during our conversation. Worse, they let my plan lapse despite having my card on file. When I spoke to Red again, he brushed it off as a “mistake,” which felt immature and unprofessional. He also failed to explain my policy increase, acting as if it was no big deal, and showed no empathy or effort to clarify. I considered speaking to the owner, but they seem more focused posting about being a staunch proponent of incoming northport water park and lagoon than running an insurance agency—completely irrelevant to their business. What does that have to do with auto insurance? When I called to cancel my policy, I got Red again. Surprise! He was short, made no effort to retain my business, and seemed eager to end the call quickly. I’m done with this agency and will never return. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different provider."

I looked into your account and your policy never lapsed last year, so I’m not sure why you thought it did. To clarify though, our policy is to never take a payment without a customer’s knowledge. You also mentioned a rate increase, but you actually had a rate decrease recently so I’m sorry if there was any confusion there. I appreciate the feedback, though. "I’m convinced this State Farm agent must be AI because I never once saw or spoke to him in all the years my policies were with his office. Not a single call, email, or face-to-face interaction just silence. The customer service was awful, and trying to get any help was like talking to a wall. I finally transferred my policies elsewhere to an agent who actually exists and cares. Would not recommend."

"I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to speak up. Derek was never available, calls went unanswered, and follow-up is nearly nonexistent. When I decided to transfer my policies to another agent who actually communicates, I was shocked to be met with attitude and resistance. Derek argued with me, claiming those are my policies, not yours. Let me be clear: the policies are mine I pay the premiums, not the agent. That kind of response is unprofessional, controlling, and completely out of line. State Farm, you need to do better with who represents your brand. I expected service, not ego. If this is the level of professionalism you support, it’s a serious red flag for your customers. I wouldn’t recommend this agent to anyone."

When I got a message saying that you wanted to transfer your policies, I called you immediately and asked if we had done anything wrong because I wanted to be able to coach my team if we had. You were very confrontational and refused to answer my question, so I told you that I would be happy to transfer your policies to another agency.
